Interested in Becoming Catholic or Completing Your Initiation Into the Catholic Church?

If you know of anyone who is interested in becoming a Catholic or who is already a baptized Catholic and would like to receive First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation please let them know about our RCIA program for adults. Our English RCIA program meets on Wednesday nights at 8 pm and our Spanish RCIA program meets on Sunday mornings at 8 am starting in September.

St. Bernard’s Tag Sale

Our Tag Sale is scheduled for October 12th—14th in Chapel Hall from, 9am-3pm. Donations for the Tag Sale can be dropped off at the Rectory, Monday through Friday from 9-5.  This year we need many new volunteers to help organize and staff the Tag Sale.  Please contact Millie Castro at 843-0663 for further information.

St. Bernard’s English Bible Study

The Church of St. Bernard’s English Bible Group will resume its meetings on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 PM, beginning September 25th, in the Fatima Room. This year we will be finishing up Acts and studying Romans, Psalms, and Proverbs. Please join us and renew your spirit, as we learn more about God’s Word.  God’s instruction and wisdom are greater than any earthly treasures. Refreshments are provided. Join the St. Bernard’s Choir This Fall

You are invited to join the Choir! We look forward to starting up our Youth and Adult English Choir.  No musical or chorale experience is necessary!

The Youth Choir rehearses every Wednesday during the Religious Education year from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, and The Adult English Choir rehearses from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesdays in the Music Room. For more information, please see Brother Pius after Mass or call the Rectory at 914-949-2111.

Annual Red Mass

The Most Reverend Gerald T. Walsh, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of New York, will celebrate the Annual Red Mass for the Judiciary, Attorneys, and Members of Law Enforcement and their families on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 6:00 pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 92 South Lexington Avenue, White Plains, New York.

The Red Mass is sponsored by the Catholic Lawyers’ Guild of the Archdiocese of New York and is a solemn Religious ceremony asking God to guide the legal profession toward the administration of justice. The custom dates back to Europe in the 13th Century. In the United States, the practice was instituted by the Catholic Lawyers’ Guild in the New York Archdiocese in 1938. The public is invited to attend.
