My Dear Parishioners of the Church of St. Bernard:
In the words of St. Paul “Grace and peace to you from God our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ” during this time of great crisis. I hope and pray that you and your family are keeping safe during these unprecedented days. Please know that you are in my prayers as I say private daily Masses here at the Church of St. Bernard. Please keep me in your prayers as well.
In my homily on Transfiguration Sunday two weeks ago, I spoke of the need to be prepared for whatever may lie ahead of us during this time of crisis. I also emphasized the truth that Christ is with us and will give us the strength to live through this unprecedented time. It is vitally important that we stay connected to the Lord and one another through our prayer, electronic communications and Social Media. Every Saturday night, a private Mass for the coming Sunday will be posted on our Social Media Facebook and Instagram accounts in Spanish and English.
The Church of St. Bernard pays it’s monthly bills from collection to collection. If you are able to financially support our parish during this time of crisis, please mail your offering to the Rectory or sign-up for online giving via the WeShare Program (https://stbernardswp.churchgiving.com/ ).
Let us all keep one another in prayer during these difficult times, especially St. Bernard’s parishioners who have contracted the Coronavirus. I will be sending frequent updates through Flocknote to keep everyone updated. If you know of parishioners who would like to receive these Flocknote notifications, ask them to contact the Rectory with their e-mail address.
